Women's Network: Who We Are

Tri-County Women’s Network Coordinator

Hi, I’m Kristen and I am the new coordinator for the Women’s Network. Before I began working for the Network I worked at Real Life as an Abstinence Educator for three years. As the coordinator of the Women’s Network, I am very excited to be able to serve families in our community through our pregnancy centers. My job also entails assisting the directors and volunteers of our centers in any way I can. I am a 2002 graduate of Denison University and currently live in Springfield with my husband, Lee.

The Carol Tipton Network- New Carlisle

Hi, I’m Anna.  I’ve enjoyed volunteering for the Women’s Network for the last eight years.  About four years ago, I became the Center Director of our New Carlisle office.  I love what I do.  Helping our girls to make wise decisions, and to earn the baby items they need while learning how to care for their child is my passion.  I speak conversational Spanish and hope to someday become fluent.  My creativity and dreams for the future have helped me to make the center what it is today.  I thank God everyday for the many blessings he has given me. Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my amazing husband of 13 years, Jim, and my four wonderful children Nicolas 11, Dustin 8, Brandon 5, and Katelyn 2 ½.

Hello my name is Mechelle and I am an advisor for the Women’s Network.  I have been with the Women’s Network for about four years.  It is definitely what I was meant to do.  I love meeting all the new clients that come to us for help.  I enjoy working with them and helping them to learn about their pregnancy and about how to take care of their newborns.  I am presently taking classes at Clark State Community College to become fluent in Spanish so that I will be able to help our Hispanic clients more.  I also thoroughly love the language.  I am married to a wonderful man named Jamey.  We have been together for 17 years and amazingly are still very much in love.  We have three children ages 6, 9, and 11.  They are a handful but life would not be the same without them.

Once in a lifetime you meet someone who shines above all others. This was Carol. Her love and faithfulness to the Lord was unconditional. Her unending love for her husband, family, friends, and the unborn will keep us going to carry on her dreams. Carol was the heart of the Women’s Network. She had a passion for those who could not speak for themselves. She gave the families whom she helped hope for a better future.

Carol was Executive Director of the Women’s Network since its office opened in 1990. She was married to her wonderful husband James Tipton for 29 years and had two children, Jim and Bill, a daughter-in-law Tika, and a grandson Hunter

The Fairborn Network

My name is Anna and I have been an adviser at the Fairborn Women Network since it opened in 1990. I became the director of the Fairborn Center about five year ago. I have been blessed by God and the many people I have met at the center thought out the years. My wonderful husband, Percy and I have been married for 44 years and have six grown children and nine grandchildren. We use the “Earn While You Learn Program” at the center. It is a wealth of information that that Percy & I would have enjoyed having when we were raising our children.
